Once again the Light+Building fair proved its importance as an international meeting place for companies involved in Building Automation. We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, both our long-term customers and friends, and for the many new contacts from around the world. We are especially happy about the interest that was shown for our new products:

  • KNX RF / TP Gateway bidirectional
  • KNX EnOcean Gateway bidirectional
  • USB Stick for KNX TP
  • USB Stick for KNX RF
  • Modules for the rapid development of KNX devices
  • KNX Stack 'System B' for Cortex M0 and M3
  • kdrive - cross-platform Software Development Kit for KNX applications

March 2012 :: kdrive-12.1.1 Release

kdrive We are pleased to announce the latest kdrive release, incorporating new features and improvements for the kdriveExpress and kdriveBAOS SDKs.

November 2011 :: Release of the KNX BAOS Gadget

November 2011 :: KNX TinySerial interface 810

KNX_IP_BAOS_772 The KNX TinySerial interface 810 provides an easy bus access to KNX twisted pair with galvanic isolation. The communication is based on a serial protocol without time-critical demands on the host. Thus the interface TinySerial especially is suited for connecting devices with Linux, Windows CE or Android. For software integration a cross platform SDK is available for various operating systems.

November 2011 :: kDriveExpress

Cross-platform SDK to access KNX networks for Linux, Windows CE, Android and Mac OS. It supports serial, USB and IP interfaces.

June 2011 :: KNX IP BAOS 772 with 1,000 Data points

KNX_IP_BAOS_772 The KNX IP BAOS 772 is the big brother of the KNX IP BAOS 771. The devices have the same functionality, but that 772 offers up to 1,000 data points. Both devices support both the BAOS binary protocol and Web services in Java Script Object Notation (JSON). The devices allow up to 5 Tunneling (KNXnet / IP) connections simultaneously and up to 10 clients of the Object Server.

March 2011 :: Successful ISH 2011 Show in Frankfurt

ISH_2011 ISH_2011 Thank you to everyone who visited our booth this year and for the positive feedback and interest in our products and solutions.

Jan. 2011 :: KNX IP BAOS 771 mit JSON Web Services

KNX_IP_BAOS_771 The KNX IP BAOS 771 is the successor to the well-tried KNX IP BAOS 770. The KNX IP BAOS 771 offers an improved BAOS protocol and supports Web Services in Java Script Object Notation (JSON). In addition, the device enables up to 5 Tunneling (KNXnet/IP) connections and up to 10 Object Server connections simultaneously.

Oct. 2010 :: KNX Stack System B for Complex Devices

System B With the increasing complexity of KNX Installations KNX devices need to meet greater demands. For this reason a Device Model with considerably more resources is now available in the KNX Specification and is fully supported by ETS. Weinzierl Engineering now offers System B as a new System Software targeted at 32-bit controllers. The platform supports up to 10,000 Group Objects and with an optimized System Architecture can support large Tables without loss in performance. The Stack implements a complete 32-Bit Architecture and is also available for Linux.
