Development of building system technology
The system design defines the product concept and establishes a solid foundation for successful product development. Our approach integrates your new product in the current EIB/KNX environment and defines the technical architecture of the devices.
Hardware development
By using our own system software (EIB/KNX Stack), we have available to us a whole new range of options in hardware development. In place of the conventional EIB system components (BCU, BIM), a full-fledged EIB/KNX device with a micro-controller can be implemented together with a TP-UART or a bittransceiver. This keeps costs at a minimum while providing additional technical options. We develop the required hardware and produce low-cost functional samples in house. The layout is created according to your specifications and takes safety and EMC considerations into account. At all stages of development all the way to the pilot series, we create the required production documentation -- from panelization and parts lists to production and test instructions.
Controller programming
With our certified system software we are able to offer EIB/KNX applications quickly, effectively and at a very reasonable price. Our powerful software implementation releases us from the many restrictions that were characteristic of previous system components. We make use of demanding features such as the loading of OpCode via the bus and multithreading, and guarantee the correct real-time behavior of each application. Thus we are able to take full advantage of controller capabilities. Of course, we create the ETS data base for your application in parallel to firmware development.
EIB/KNX certification, CE testing
If you wish, we can have your product certified at the KNX Association. We produce all required forms and prepare the test run with the prescribed test tool (EITT). We work together with an external laboratory to verify CE conformity.
Production
If you intend to purchase entire modules or fully mounted devices, we will take over production of the devices. We work together with experienced electronics manufacturers and guarantee on-time delivery with a high level of quality and at a reasonable price. We define the test procedure during and after production and create testing software and test assemblies where necessary.
Windows programming
For the development of PC programs, we have available to us in house a comprehensive software library. For many tasks, such as visualization or monitor programs, we have recourse to finished solutions, allowing us to supply you with powerful programs on short notice. We offer a variety of programming and testing programs for production.
Support and consultation
Included in the scope of the development project is customer support. In addition, our consultation and training services are available to you without an accompanying development project.
