Weinzierl Engineering becomes 10th KNX accredited test lab

Burgkirchen an der Alz: On 19th till 21st of June a successful audit was conducted by the KNX audit team at the newly founded KNX test lab at Weinzierl Engineering in Germany in order to check its conformity to ISO 17025 as well as its aptitude to conduct KNX conformity testing.

Consequently, Weinzierl Engineering - already well-known as one of the providers of KNX stacks for many microprocessor platforms - became the 10th KNX accredited test lab, in this specific case the 4th test lab to be able to perform KNX lower layer tests.

KNX in China: Weinzierl is part of the team

The success story continues: KNX as the international standard (ISO / IEC 14543-3) is now also a local Chinese standard (GB / T 20965). More than 300 manufacturers worldwide are convinced of the advantages of KNX for home and building control solutions - including now more and more companies from China. In order to establish KNX even stronger in China the KNX Association invited to the first "KNX China Development Getting Started Roadshow" - and Weinzierl was an active participant.

Success: First KNX Development Training Workshop

KNX has evolved to become one of the most important solutions in the field of home and building electronic systems. Despite its worldwide success, KNX and its technologies are quite complex to understand. With its first KNX Development Training Workshop in late April 2013 Weinzierl provided a compact overview of the KNX system and showed the development principles for KNX development based on certified modules or stack implementations.
